Guided Tour with Matthew Rosenblatt, Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP) Volunteer at the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial

On April 23, 1945, American soldiers liberated the remaining 1,500 prisoners left at the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp. For many, both liberators and survivors, this is a day of celebration and freedom; for others, the pain of witnessing continues to this day. This tour explores the various themes of liberation, including from the perspectives of the American soldiers who witnessed the end result of a devastating and unprecedented war. Out of respect for Americans who honor their fallen soldiers on "Memorial Day," we offer this public guided tour in English.
