Opening hours

The Memorial grounds and the exhibitions are open daily
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (winter hours from December through February are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Admission to the Memorial grounds and the exhibitions is free of charge.

Arrival by car / tour bus

The Memorial can be reached via:

• Autobahn A 93 (Regensburg – Hof), exit Neustadt an der Waldnaab.
• Autobahn A 6 (Nürnberg – Plzeň), exit Waidhaus.

After leaving the Autobahn, follow the signs to “KZ-Gedenkstätte Flossenbürg.” Travel times by car are as follows

• from Regensburg: approximately 1 hour
• from Hof: approximately 1 hour
• from Nürnberg: approximately 80 minutes
• from Grafenwöhr: approximately 45 minutes

Arrival by public transportation

Arrival by train: take the train to the railway station at either Weiden (Oberpfalz), Altenstadt an der Waldnaab or Neustadt an der Waldnaab. From there transfer to the RBO Regionalbus Ostbayern GmbH bus service, bus line 6272 (Weiden – Flossenbürg/Silberhütte)

Travel time from the railway stations to the Flossenbürg Memorial bus stop is between 40 and 55 minutes.
