Commemoration for the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation

21.04.2024, 14:00 Uhr

Leading up to the commemoration ceremony, beginning Friday, April 19, 2024, there will be a manifold social programme for relatives and interested visitors. In our meeting hub you will have the opportunity to connect with other visitors and memorial employees in a relaxed atmosphere. In our pop-up archive you will receive historical information and support with researching your family history.

Please find the complete program here:

This year we want to decorate the Meeting Hub together with you! Each of us has different perspectives on this place, perspectives that might have changed over time. We would love to show your perspectives with the help of photos in our Meeting Hub. Therefore, it would be great, if you could send us two to three photos that you associate or connect with Flossenbürg. Please send us your photos using the following email address: event@gedenkstaette-flossenbuerg.de

The weather forecast predicts cold and sometimes wet weather for the weekend. Please remember to wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes, as it is always a little colder in Flossenbürg than everywhere else.
